Reducer Slabs

Aquarius Precast manufacture a comprehensive range of reducer slabs to suit standard council and authority in-situ specifications or precast chambers. Used as access to manhole chambers, a reducer slab (sometimes known as an aspro) is used to reduce the internal diameter for the purpose of facilitating cost effective easy installation of a smaller access cover or grate on top of the structure.

Reducer slabs are often the number one approved choice by councils and authorities, replacing the need for more expensive squat or taper cones on top of a manhole.

Proud to be involved in the design, procurement, planning, installation & commissioning of another complex water infrastructure project.
With only 36 hours to complete the works and get the water back on line, was great to finish with 5 hours up our sleeve.
Shoutout to the Aquarius Precast team, successfully fabricating two precast flow meter pits with all pipework cast insitu (on grade) for the first time.
